Bruce Jenner introduced Boy George before a set in Los Angeles Friday night to a standing ovation from fans.

“Caitlyn Jenner in the house for her first Boy George concert!” Jenner told the fans at the Greek Theatre, according to a video obtained by TMZ.

He added, “This is going to be a good group. Thank you so much. Enough about me. Thank you for being here tonight. … Um, this is so much fun for me and let’s hear it here at the Greek Theatre for Boy George! Let’s get it going!”

The New York Daily News reports that Boy George told the audience, “I expected a standing ovation for her and I wasn’t disappointed,” adding, “We need to celebrate the kinds of changes that are happening.”

This past week, Boy George gushed about Jenner’s gender transition, telling the Associated Press, Jenner is “being allowed to be who she is.”

The Culture Club singer also said society should embrace people, regardless of their race, gender, or “otherness.”

Jenner was later spotted at the Boy George show dancing with friend Candis Cayne, a transgender actress.
