Musical superstar Kanye West visited Trump Tower this morning, surprising reporters stationed outside the elevator doors.
West walked in unannounced together with his entourage including one person with a video camera filming the exchange.
The famous star entered the elevator doors without comment.
West was recently hospitalized after making a 40 minute pro-Trump rant at a concert.
“I told y’all I didn’t vote, right?” he said at a concert in San Jose. “But if I were to vote, I would have voted on Trump.”
According to TMZ, West traveled to Manhattan to “interview psychiatrists” to assist him in recovery.
A CNBC reporter captured the moment West arrived:

UPDATE:
After the meeting Kanye West and Trump appeared in front of the cameras, as the president-elect told the press that they discussed “life.”
“We’ve been friends for a long time,” Trump said.
West did not answer questions, including whether he would run for president in 2020.
“I just want to take a picture right now,” he said.
Trump gripped hands with West and slapped him on the back as he prepared to leave.
“You take care of yourself, I’ll see you soon,” the president-elect said.
CNN captured video of the exchange:
