Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s daughter, Ava Raine, sparked a massive backlash for a social media post that appeared to be directed at Charlie Kirk just hours after the free speech advocate was assassinated.

The 24-year-old – who is also a WWE professional wrestler just like her father – shared an X post from comedian Gianmarco Soresi on her Instagram story, which read, “If you want people to have kind words when you pass, you should say kind things when you’re alive.”

The New York Post first noted although the comment did not directly name the celebrated Turning Point USA founder, she doubled down, adding a comment of her own in a repost on her X account: “and i’ll stand behind this. be kind, now more than ever,” Raine, whose full name is Simone Alexandra Garcia Johnson, wrote.

Her position quickly drew a massive backlash from WWE fans and followers.

WWE is yet to make any formal response to the Ava Raine furore.
