March 5 (UPI) — Mattel announced the release of a Barbie Dream Team, a new line of eight dolls celebrating female icons including Serena Williams and Chloe Kelly.
The toy company said the first-ever Barbie Dream Team, timed to coincide with Sunday’s International Women’s Day, honors “eight women from across the globe who have led the way for future generations of girls by accomplishing breakthrough firsts in their chosen paths.”

“When girls see what’s possible, they dare to dream big — for the world, for the future, and for themselves,” Mattel said.
