Sharapova reaches French Open final

Maria Sharapova of Russia reached the French Open final on Thursday with a 6-1, 2-6, 6-4 win over Victoria Azarenka of Belarus.

In Saturday’s championship match the defending champion will play either top seed Serena Wiiliams of the United States or Sara Errani, the Italian she beat in last year’s final.
