Four staff dead in Turkish university shooting: reports

Istanbul (AFP) – A gunman on Thursday killed four members of staff in a shooting at a university in the western Turkish city of Eskisehir, reports said.

The attacker, who was also an employee of the Osmangazi University, was later detained, the Dogan news agency said. Those killed were the deputy dean, faculty secretary and two lecturers, the state-run Anadolu news agency added.
