Iron & Wine release ‘Roses’ EP, music video

Feb. 6 (UPI) — Indie folk music artist Sam Beam, better known as Iron & Wine, is back with new music.

He released the EP Roses on Friday, which includes the songs “Roses,” “In Your Ocean” and “Robin’s Egg” with I’m With Her.

The music video for the title track, which also dropped Friday, features animated sketches. Swirling leaves and giant rabbits hop across the screen.

“Run into the one you love forever, laugh into each other’s empty mouth,” Beam sings. “We all fall through the window, babies having babies, everything crying out loud.”

The new music will be featured on Iron & Wine’s upcoming album, Hen’s Teeth, which arrives Feb. 27.

Other songs on that album will include “Paper and Stone,” “Singing Saw,” “Defiance, Ohio,” “Wait Up” with I’m With Her, “Grace Notes,” “Dates and Dead People” and “Half Measures.”
