Feb. 7 (UPI) — Batman and Beetlejuice icon Michael Keaton was honored as Hasty Pudding Theatricals’ Man of the Year at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass., on Friday.

“We are beyond thrilled to honor Michael Keaton as our 2026 Man of the Year,” President and Man of the Year Coordinator Daisy Nussbaum said when Keaton’s name was first announced in December.
“The Pudding has big plans for Keaton on the Farkas Hall stage. We know he can handle the Joker, but let’s see if he can handle the jokes.”
In addition to accepting the prize, Keaton was also roasted by the theater group.
Last year’s honoree was Jon Hamm.
Previous recipients of the award include Clint Eastwood, Tom Hanks, Harrison Ford, Robert De Niro Samuel L. Jackson, Ryan Reynolds and Barry Keoghan.
If I Had Legs I’d Kick You Oscar nominee Rose Byrne will behonored with the troupe’s 2026 Woman of the Year Award on Feb. 13.
