Nicole Kidman, Jamie Lee Curtis attend ‘Scarpetta’ premiere

March 4 (UPI) — Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis attended the premiere of their new Prime Video crime drama series, Scarpetta, in New York Tuesday.

Kidman plays the titular Virginia medical examiner — Dr. Kay Scarpetta — in the show, while Curtis plays her sister, children’s book author Dorothy.

Also walking the red carpet were cast members Bobby Cannavale, who plays death investigator Pete Marino, and Ariana DeBose, who plays Dorothy’s tech expert/helicopter pilot daughter Lucy.

Patricia Cornwell, who penned the best-selling novels on which the show is based, also was on-hand for the celebration.

The series is slated to begin streaming on March 11.
