On December 24, author Stephen King tweeted “happy holidays,” even to “NRA types.”
Happy holidays, you Twitterheads. Love & peace to all of you, even the NRA types and those willing to vote for He Who Must Not Be Named.
— Stephen King (@StephenKing) December 24, 2015
These holiday wishes came less than a month after King criticized the NRA for opposing more gun control in the wake of the November 27 Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood shooting.
As Breitbart News previously reported, Stephen King suggested Planned Parenthood gunman Robert Lewis Dear used “automatic weapons” in the attack that killed two civilians and one policeman.
But in his Christmas Eve tweet, King wished the NRA “happy holidays” and appeared to wish supporters of Donald Trump the same. King tweeted, “Happy holidays, you Twitterheads. Love & peace to all of you, even the NRA types and those willing to vote for He Who Must Not Be Named.”
