Joe Bast, President and CEO of The Heartland Institute joined Breitbart News Daily host Stephen K. Bannon on SiriusXM to announce the dedication of the Andrew Breitbart Freedom Center at the group’s new headquarters in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Bast says:

It has a large public meeting space … and we are dedicating that room in the honor of Andrew Breitbart. We’re doing weekly events, sometimes twice a week. We’re having a Who’s Who of the Free Market, Libertarian and Conservative movements in there to give presentations. So Andrew’s legacy is going to be upfront and on stage everyday, forever.

There will be a dedication ceremony this Summer featuring a screening of “Hating Breitbart,” a previously released documentary examining Andrew Breitbart’s philosophy and his impact on media, culture and politics.

Additional information is available via the Heartland Institute’s website here:

“Andrew’s children and I, along with his extended family, are grateful that the Heartland Institute is keeping his memory alive and continuing to honor his important work, about which he was so very passionate,” said Susie Breitbart.

“Andrew Breitbart was a genuine American hero. He inspired millions of people to stand up and speak the truth about what is happening in America,” said Joseph Bast, president of The Heartland Institute. “We could not be more pleased to have his name forever affixed to The Heartland Institute. We are honored that his family and friends believe this connection is a suitable addition to his legacy.”
