Stefany Shaheen, who is running for Congress in New Hampshire’s First District, refused to condemn political violence when given the chance to easily do so on camera.

The Democrat candidate, who happens to be the daughter of U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), was caught on video refusing to say much when asked if she condemns political violence.

Instead of answering the question — which is particularly relevant given the recent string of tragedies — she told the questioner, “I hope you have a great night.”

The questioner did not let up and asked, “Do you think the rhetoric needs to be toned down right now? Do you condemn political violence? That seems like a pretty simple question, ma’am.”

“Is murdering someone because of their politics wrong? Is murder socially unacceptable?” the questioner continued, as Shaheen continued to ignore the questions.

Shaheen continued to walk in silence until she reached her vehicle, hopping into the driver’s seat and closing the door.

“Stefany Shaheen’s inability to condemn murdering someone over their political views isn’t just radical, it’s flat-out dangerous,” National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) spokeswoman Maureen O’Toole said in a statement.

“Shaheen is contributing to the rising political temperature, and she is unfit to serve Granite Staters in Congress,” she added.

Shaheen, a former Portsmouth city councilor, initially launched her congressional bid in May. Her refusal to answer these basic questions comes less than a month after the horrific public assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, who was speaking at an event at Utah Valley University.

It also comes less than a month after a man shot at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Dallas, Texas. As Breitbart News reported, “At least one of the bullets loaded in a clip had ‘Anti-ICE’ marked on the shell casing.”

Notably, her refusal to condemn political violence comes as Democrat Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) shares a study showing that left-wing terrorism had reached a “30-year high,” criticizing fellow Democrats for using rhetoric including the all-too common “Hitler” or “fascist.”
