Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri has had his share of big moments on the football field. After all, Vinatieri kicked the game-winning field goals that won two of Bill Belichick’s four Super Bowls.
However, in a career that has spanned 20 years, produced four Super Bowl Championships, and given us some of the most memorable moments in football history Adam Vinatieri may have given us his most memorable moment yet on Thursday night.
Just before the Colts game against the Steelers on Thanksgiving night, Adam Vinatieri and his brother Beau held the American flag during the national anthem. Beau is a member of the U.S. Army National Guard and just recently returned from a tour in the Middle East.
