Real Estate prices in the greater Boston area are known to be incredibly high. Yet, the New York Yankees are living rent-free in the minds of the Red Sox and their fans, on this championship parade Wednesday.
While hearkening back to his team’s Divisional Series match-up against the Yankees, Red Sox Manager Alex Cora reminded fans of the panic the team felt after losing Game 2 to New York, and the exhilaration that followed their Game 3 offensive explosion:

This is tough talk from the champs, indeed. Nor is it the first time the Sox have taken a shot at their arch nemesis. During their locker-room celebration after winning the World Series, the Red Sox broke out in a stirring, yet mocking rendition of New York, New York:
Playing "New York, New York" in the clubhouse?

There is no way that all these cheap shots and mockery will cause the Yankees to spend tens of millions of additional dollars on their roster, and re-double their efforts to beat Boston.
Nope, not a chance.
