Marco Rubio Called a Field Goal a 3-Point Kick

Marco Rubio

Politicians know about political things, and that’s pretty much it. As an illustration of this point, I give you Florida Senator Marco Rubio.

While trying to use a sports analogy to illustrate how Democrats are trying to steal the Florida election, Rubio referred to a field goal as a “3 pt kick:”

I mean, why does the Democrats blatant attempt to steal the election need an analogy in the first place? Why not just say: “Hey, the Democrats are stealing the election.” Is a leftist attempt to hijack the electoral process such a shocking or complicated subject that it actually requires analogy?

I should think not.

But please, for the love of God, if you’re going to use a sports analogy at least use it correctly. A “3 pt kick” is something a Euro would say. Not a sitting senator from a state that — in many years — puts more talent into the college and pro ranks than any other state in the country.
