Harlem Building Offers 'Apartments' Smaller Than Jail Cells

The owners of one building in Harlem are offering apartments that are smaller than jail cells. An apartment building at 14 Convent Avenue has apartments that are just 100 square feet and barely eight feet wide. The mini unit goes for $1,275 a month. The owners are trying to lure single New Yorkers into the units. But, it’s barely big enough to fit a single bed.
