WFSU’s Sascha Cordner reported on DNC Chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) speaking out against abortion related legislation that is waiting for Gov. Rick Scott’s (R-FL) signature. One bill prohibits abortion past the 20th week of pregnancy if it’s found that the fetus can live outside the womb and lawmakers also passed a bill making it a separate crime to cause the death or injury of an unborn child by attacking a pregnant woman.
Wasserman Schultz commented on the pending law in the report by saying, “Instead, Florida Republican lawmakers have wasted taxpayers time and money by passing these extreme bills that further limit women’s reproductive rights. It is senseless and it’s wrong”…
