On Monday, Vice President Joe Biden hosted the kick-off of the sixth annual “Ride 2 Recovery Memorial Challenge” at his home. The event in which cyclists and injured veterans ride 325 miles from Washington to Virginia Beach was opened with the vice president addressing the crowd.
Biden said the only true “sacred obligation” the government has is to care for it’s veterans. However, he admitted the administration was “behind right now” and he told the vets the VA problems must be addressed.
