NBC’s Bacon: ‘Obama-Clinton Foreign Policy’ ‘Not Something To Brag About’

NBC News Senior Political Reporter Perry Bacon argued that Hillary Clinton did not talk extensively about her tenure as Secretary of State because ” the Obama-Clinton foreign policy is not something to brag about” on Monday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Hardball.”

Bacon, when asked why Clinton generally avoided talking about her time at the State Department, said that Clinton stayed away from the topic in part because Democrats care more about economic issues, but also because “let’s be blunt, the Obama-Clinton foreign policy is not something to brag about, I would argue. — The growth of ISIS, the failures in Iraq. I don’t think they have a great — I think in terms of you’re Hillary Clinton running for president, talking about income inequality’s an issue where you’re winning on. Notice how much Jeb Bush and Ted Cruz talk about foreign policy. There’s a weakness –.”
