On Bleacher Report’s “Simms and Lefkoe” podcast, former NFL QB Chris Simms said San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan named his son Carter after rapper Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.
According to Simms, Shanahan was “obsessed” with the rapper during his NFL days and would mainly play his music.
