Donald Trump is trolling President Obama in a post on Twitter, as the president is finally traveling to visit the victims of the historic flooding in Baton Rouge on Tuesday.
Trump said the visit is “too little, too late” and Obama “should have gone to Louisiana days ago, instead of golfing.”

Trump went to see the flooded area and help the victims of the damage on Friday as both Obama and Hillary Clinton were in Martha’s Vineyard. Obama was on vacation while Clinton was there for her husband’s birthday party.
In 2005, President George W. Bush was criticized for waiting two days before cutting his vacation short and heading on the third day to visit Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina, according to The Hill.
Obama waited at least five days before heading to the flooded region.
In 2008, Obama criticized Bush’s lax approach to Katrina, saying, “We can talk about what happened for a few days in 2005, and we should. We can talk about levies that couldn’t hold, about a FEMA that seem not just incompetent but paralyzed and powerless, about a president who only saw the people from a window on an airplane instead of down here on the ground, trying to provide comfort and aid.”
He added at the time, “We can talk about a trust that was broken, the promise that our government would be prepared, will protect us, and will respond in a catastrophe.”
The White House has rejected any comparison between the way Bush dealt with Katrina and the way Obama has dealt with this natural disaster.
