Democrats Boot God From Convention Platform
When it comes to abortion, the corrupt media can't stop talking about how the Republican Party platform is "extreme" on this issue. This was one of the narrative threads Obama's Media Palace Guards were intent on keeping alive throughout last week's convention in order to aid and abet Obama in his fight to win the women's vote.
Never once, however, did I hear the media bring up the fact that President Obama and the Democrat's convention platform are both wildly extreme on the issue of abortion and way outside the mainstream.
Obama is infamous for voting present in order to ensure partial-birth abortion remains legal and the Democratic Party platform does not list partial-birth abortion as an exception to its pro-choice stance.
And yet, somehow the DNC's platform managed to get even worse this year.
According to CBN's David Brody, the wild, out-of-touch extremism of the Democratic Party has just hit a new low.
Yep, Democrats showed God Himself the door. This is the paragraph that was in the 2008 platform:
We need a government that stands up for the hopes, values, and interests of working people, and gives everyone willing to work hard the chance to make the most of their God-given potential.
Now the words “God-given” have been removed. The paragraph has been restructured to say this:
We gather to reclaim the basic bargain that built the largest middle class and the most prosperous nation on Earth – the simple principle that in America, hard work should pay off, responsibility should be rewarded, and each one of us should be able to go as far as our talent and drive take us.
Other than the Democrats increasing discomfort surrounding all issues of faith, there is no reasonable or practical need to oust The Almighty from this section of the platform.
In his report, Brody includes the platform's single section on "faith," but it reads to me like The Dance of the Secular Who Need That Church Vote.
The godless Democrats are now even more godless and no longer even trying to hide it.
None of this is surprising, though.
After all, this is the same political party that supports taxpayer funding for a "Piss Christ."
