The Twitter account @YourAnonNews, one of the few official info sources for the hackivist group, has been actively tweeting about the Chris Dorner shooting rampage in Los Angeles earlier today. It has announced that the official LAPD website that the public uses to access the department and report crimes had been targeted in what they call Operation USA.
In a tweet hashtagged #revolution and #opUSA, the account linked to the LAPD site and said "Target: DOWN"
The hashtag #FTP stands for F*** The Police. As of this writing, the LAPD's official website does appear to be down, most likely as a result of a Denial of Service attacks.
At approximately 6:35pm Pacific Time, the account tweeted that it would release information about Dorner, stating, "Dormer needs to be placed in custody without being killed. He also may have information he wants leaked; we will leak it if he desires."
