Obama on 'House of Cards' – 'I Wish Things Were That Ruthlessly Efficient'

The Netflix series House of Cards follows a ruthless politician who will do just about anything to bend the system to his liking.

President Barack Obama can’t help but marvel at how the main character gets things done.

Obama addressed the streaming series during a chat with tech industry giants earlier today. Suffice it to say that aspects of Kevin Spacey’s House Majority Whip character intrigue this Commander in Chief.

“I wish things were that ruthlessly efficient,” Obama said in his first public remarks on the show. “It’s true. It’s like Kevin Spacey, man this guy’s getting a lot of stuff done.”
