Fox News Announces 1-Hour "Sean Hannity Special–'Boomtown: Washington, the Imperial City'" with GAI's Peter Schweizer and Breitbart's Stephen K. Bannon

Fox News on Tuesday announced a “Sean Hannity Special–‘Boomtown: Washington, the Imperial City,'” scheduled to air on Friday, January 25th at 9 PM EST.

“Boomtown: Washington, The Imperial City” reveals how Washington’s power elite leverage their crony connections to vacuum taxpayer wallets, bankrolling their lifestyles of luxury and opulence–all under the guise of what’s best for America.

“Boomtown” promises to be a hard-hitting exposé of an area we believe needs to be fully explored–the cronyism rampant in Washington.

The special features five filmed segments written and directed by Bannon with Schweizer as co-writer and on-camera narrator.  Host Sean Hannity guides the audience through the shocking material presented. The film segments were produced in conjunction with the Sean Hannity Show production team.

“Boomtown” accomplishes what the mainstream media has avoided: an eye-opening investigation into the tools and tactics Washington cronies–lobbyists, bureaucrats, and small town legislators–use to extract taxpayer wealth to fatten their wallets. If you have ever wondered how DC, a city that produces nothing, has become one of the wealthiest cities in the world, “Boomtown: Washington, The Imperial City” will show you how.

Peter Schweizer is President and Co-founder of the Government Accountability Institute. GAI is a nonpartisan government investigative group devoted to exposing government corruption and cronyism involving taxpayer dollars. He is also a William J. Casey Fellow at the Hoover Institution and an editor at Breitbart News.

Stephen K. Bannon is the Executive Chairman of Breitbart News and the Co-founder of the Government Accountability Institute. Three of Bannon’s past films–Generation ZeroDistrict of Corruption, and The Hope and The Change–have previously been the subject of highly rated one-hour Hannity specials.
