Coming Soon: Obama Will Blame Bush for US Treatment of Chen

It’s only a matter of time before the Obama administration finds a way to blame former President George W. Bush for its treatment of Chinese human rights hero Chen Guangcheng. 

As then-Sen. Barack Obama explained on the campaign trail in 2008 (video below), Bush created the huge national debt, much of which is owed to China. And you can’t be mean to your “banker,” can you? So the Obama administration couldn’t confront China (which must really have wanted those clean cookstoves), because of Bush. So Chen should blame Bush, and so should everybody else.

The fact that Obama is on track to double the national debt, and that he has a rather poor human rights record in comparison with the Bush administration, should be ignored. Forward!
