Reports indicate the US Consulate General in Jerusalem has issued a message warning US citizens to stay away from East Jerusalem on September 14.
The message, as reported, states that US citizens are advised against going to East Jerusalem, and the city has been declared off limits for diplomatic personnel.
The reason given is that there is a high possibility of “protests.”
Protests throughout the Middle East this week have resulted in the destruction of a consulate in Libya and the murder of four Americans.
