Obama's Pick to Head CIA Called 'War on Terrorism' Over in 2009

According to reports, Obama will nominate Counterterrorism and Homeland Security Adviser John Brennan to be Gen. David Petraeus’ successor as Director of the CIA.

This the same Brennan who, in 2009, told us the “war on terrorism” was over, and that the U.S. is not in the business of chasing down “jihadists” or fighting in a “global war.”

He has also advised the Obama administration to reach out to the terror group Hezbollah, in much the same way Obama’s pending nominee for Sec. of Defense, Chuck Hagel, has advised administrations to reach out to Iran.
