Report: Peyton Manning Will Play with Two Ankle Sprains

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning will play on Sunday with two ankle sprains and will be on painkillers against the Washington Redskins on Sunday.

Manning reportedly suffered both ankle sprains against Jacksonville on October 13 and aggravated the injuries last week against the Indianapolis Colts when he was sacked by former teammate Robert Mathis. The Colts and Andrew Luck defeated Manning's Broncos on Manning's homecoming to Indianapolis.

According to ESPN:

Manning suffered the first ankle sprain on the Broncos' first offensive play against the Jaguars, the sources said. The four-time MVP sustained the second sprain when he was hit low by Jacksonville's Jason Babin, according to sources.

The high ankle sprain was aggravated during last Sunday's loss to the Indianapolis Colts, when Manning was sacked for the second time by former teammate Robert Mathis.
