Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” former White House Senior Adviser David Axelrod said it was a “mistake” for President Barack Obama to say that his polices are on the ballot this fall in a speech on Thursday.
The Obama line, “I’m not on the ballot this fall … but make no mistake, these policies are on the ballot — every single one of them,” is already being used in ad by Republicans hoping to run against the unpopular president.
In reaction to Obama’s statement, Axelrod said, “It was a mistake.”
