Gen. Dempsey 'Fearful' Syrian Town on Turkish Border to Be Taken By ISIS

Tuesday, Chairman of the Joints Chiefs Gen. Martin Dempsey told ABC News’ Martha Raddatz he is  “fearful” the Syrian town of Kobani will be taken over by ISIS.

After “just getting off the phone” with his Turkish counterpart Dempsey said, “Well It may be about to fall the ISIL fighters have been putting pressure on the outskirts of the city and in fact  into the city itself.” 

He added once ISIS is in control of the city he added, “I have no doubt ISIL will conduct the same kind of horrific atrocities if they have the opportunities to do so.”
