FNC Panel Criticizes Hillary for Saying We Should ‘Empathize with Our Enemies’

On this weekend’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” the political panel, which included George Will, former Rep. Jane Harman (D-CA), Juan Williams and Brit Hume debated comments Hillary Clinton made this week calling for the United States to “respect” and “empathize” with our enemies.

Clinton said, “Showing respect even for one’s enemies, trying to understand and insofar as psychologically possible empathize with their perspective and point of view, helping to define the problem, determine the solutions.”

“I don’t think we have to respect members of terror groups ever,” Harman said. “I think we have to have harsh policies against them.”

George Will had the harshest criticism saying, “Let me try to say this as politely as possible — the English language is not Hillary Clinton’s close friend. She’s just not a fluent speaker.”
