Poll: Wisconsin Deadlocked, 49-49

According to the latest Rasmussen poll, released today, Mitt Romney and Barack Obama are deadlocked in Wisconsin, with each earning 49 percent of the vote. Scott Rasmussen says that the state “may prove to be the key to the entire presidential contest.” Barack Obama carried Wisconsin by 14% in 2008.

Thanks to last year’s attempted recall of Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker (R), the Republican ground game in the state is also excellent. Even Democrats are projecting worry about the state, which along with Iowa, would give Mitt Romney enough votes to take the electoral college even without Ohio.
