Another IRS agent, Jeremiah Beaty, is facing charges in Tennessee. This time the accusation is child porn.

And a whistleblower tells Breitbart News the arrest earlier this month of a different IRS agent, Samuel Garza, on two counts of sexual battery in Williamson County, Tennessee “is the tip of the iceberg.”

Breitbart News has confirmed the source’s claim that three additional IRS employees have been arrested recently on charges of child solicitation, theft, and embezzlement in Davidson County, Tennessee.

Breitbart News has confirmed that one of the three IRS employees mentioned by the source, Jeremiah Beaty, was arrested on child porn charges in August. Remarkably, the IRS is apparently still allowing Mr. Beaty to work at the IRS while the charges are pending and granting him access the IRS Internet Network.

As the Tennessean reported on September 3:

A Nashville Internal Revenue Service agent appeared in court Thursday on charges he had more than 1,000 images of child pornography.

Jeremiah Beaty, 37, was arrested Aug. 4. He is charged with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor of more than 100 items.

Nashville Police Detective Mike Adkins was investigating a file-sharing network that traced back to Beaty’s computer in October, police said. Officers got a search warrant and seized a computer and two thumb drives, on which Detective Chad Gish found several thousand images of child porn, police officials said.

Court documents say that while the charges are pending Beaty is not allowed to use the Internet, unless it is related to work and on the “IRS internet system.” Beaty’s attorney, Patrick McNally, declined to comment while the case is pending.

Beaty appeared in court Thursday, but the matter was reset to Oct. 1.

The revelation that that one of the most powerful and feared arms of the federal government, the IRS, has seemingly become a safe haven for criminals adds fuel to the fire for calls to abolish the agency.

“There are others,” the source adds, “including sexual attacks and fraud in Memphis, meth manufacturing and distribution.”

“The agency has been very lax in dealing with these felony indictments,” the source continues, “allowing many to continue to work and deal with taxpayers while awaiting their trials. It appears only recently they are now attempting to follow their policy which has been in effect for a number of years by indefinitely suspending these people until their cases are resolved in court.”

It is not clear if these additional instances of criminal conduct by IRS employees took place outside of their official duties or while they were conducting their official duties. The alleged criminal activity of Samuel Garza took place while he was conducting an audit of a female taxpayer’s business.

Breitbart News has obtained the names of the two IRS employees our source claims have been arrested for crimes in Davidson County in addition to Beaty, and has asked the IRS to confirm or deny their employment status, but has received no response. The IRS has also failed to confirm or deny whether Garza is or was employed by the IRS.

Breitbart News has also asked the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU) to confirm or deny that the three individuals, whose names we provided them, are current or former NTEU members, but we have not received a response.

A spokesperson with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Department tells Breitbart News that Samuel Garza remains in custody in the Williamson County Jail. A spokesperson with the Williamson County District Attorney’s Office tells Breitbart News Garza will appear in Williamson County General Sessions Court next on September 22.
