On Friday night a taco stand employee shot and killed one of three men during an alleged attempted robbery of the street-side business in South Los Angeles.

The incident occurred just before midnight.

According to ABC 7, “Three suspects [allegedly] tried to rob the taco stand…and an employee ended up shooting one of the men who was 19-years-old.” The other two suspects fled the scene once the outnumbered taco stand employee opened fire.

The two suspects who fled remain “at large.”

The wounded suspect was transported to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he died.
