President Donald Trump criticized Senator Elizabeth Warren as a “hopeless case” after she accused Republicans of creating a healthcare bill that would kill people.

“Well I actually think she’s a hopeless case,” Trump said, in an interview with Fox and Friends Sunday, adding that she had “a lot of hatred and a lot of anger.”

He recalled watching Warren campaign angrily with Hillary Clinton during the presidential campaign.

“There’s a lot of anger there and hostility,” Trump said, recalling that Clinton would be “trying to smile” while Warren delivered an angry stump speech.

“I think she hurt Hillary,” Trump said, adding that she was “an overrated voice” for Democrats.

The president continued to refer to Warren as “Pocahontas” even though he said it was an insult to the historical figure.

“I call her Pocahontas, and that’s an insult to Pocahontas,” he said.

Trump criticized Democrats for their “resist” theme and their politics of obstruction, rather than working together with Republicans to make important changes to the country.

“I think it’s a terrible theme in terms of getting elected and more importantly I think it’s a terrible thing for the people of this country,” he said.
