‘Stuff Happens’: CNN’s Ryan Lizza Is Why America Hates and Distrusts the Media

Ryan Lizza identifies an objective reporter/analyst for The New Yorker and CNN, but anyone familiar with his work knows that he is just another left-wing hitman, and on Friday afternoon he proved so once again when he intentionally took Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush out of context. With trust in the media at an all-time low; with circulations and ratings plummeting; with red ink flowing, you would think the elite media would stop with the corrupt lying. Nope. The Cause will always come first.

No one will ever confuse me with a Jeb Bush fan. In the upcoming primaries there are around a dozen Republicans I’ll vote for before Bush. That doesn’t mean, though, that it is okay when a Ryan Lizza intentionally lies about what Bush said, not just — it should be added — to attack Jeb but the Republican Party at large. And all in the service of pushing gun confiscation and keeping Democrats in the White House.

At a forum in South Carolina, Bush was asked about Thursday’s school shooting in Oregon. His answer was quite good — a thoughtful look at the unpredictability of human nature, the role of government, the rights of the individual and his obvious contrast with President Obama and Democrats.

Out of this lengthy answer, Lizza highlighted two words and lied about the context of those words:

We’re in a difficult time in our country and I don’t think more government is necessarily the answer to this. I think we need to reconnect ourselves with everybody else. It’s very sad to see. I resist the notion. I had this challenge as governor, ’cause we had, look, stuff happens, there’s always a crisis. And the impulse is always to do something and it’s not necessarily the right thing to do. …

That whenever you see a tragedy take place, the impulse in the political system, most, more often than at the federal level, but also at the state level, is to ‘do something,’ right? And what we end up doing lots of times is we create rules on the 99.999 percent of human activity that had nothing to do with the tragedy that forced the conversation about doing something. And we’re taking people’s rights away each time we do that, and we’re not necessarily focusing on the real challenge. So if we have people that are mentally ill, to the point where they go into the vortex and they don’t come out and they’re hateful, and they’re in isolation, and they kill people. The impulse in Washington is take personal rights away from the rest of us. And it won’t solve the problem of this tragedy that is just heartbreaking to see. Maybe we oughtta be more connected in our communities. Maybe we oughtta have greater awareness of the mental health challenges that exist all across this country. Maybe there’s a better way to deal with this than taking people’s human, you know, personal liberty away every time we, you know, kind of require people to do something.

Because over the years our elite media has devolved from journalists into left-wing gotcha queens,  here’s Lizza’s “reporting” on a Republican presidential candidate’s complex answer to a complex problem:

Acting as a left-wing Tracker-for-Hillary, here’s video of Lizza trying to catch Bush off guard with his gotcha:

And here’s how quickly it went around the media world. Jon Karl of ABC News even hurled a “stuff happens” softball at President Obama. Listen to our Journalist Class laugh at Obama’s answer:

This isn’t journalism. This is lying. To make Jeb and the Republican Party at large look cold and out-of-touch, the media is outright lying.

Fact: Jeb Bush did not respond to the Oregon murders with “stuff happens.”

Ten years ago Lizza and his media colleagues could get away with his.

In the era of New Media, those days are over.

To circle back: Here’s why trust in the media is at all-time low: The media’s lies are being exposed by New Media and the media’s Ryan Lizzas refuse to stop lying.
