Obama: ISIS’ Ability To Launch ‘Major Land Offensives,’ Wasn’t On My Intel ‘Radar Screen’

During an interview set to air on Wednesday’s CNN special, “The Legacy of Barack Obama,” an excerpt of which was aired on Wednesday’s “New Day,” President Obama answered a question on whether the rise of ISIS surprised him by saying that “The ability of ISIL to initiate major land offensives, that was not on my intelligence radar screen.”
