America’s Ryan Lochte clinched his fifth gold medal of the week at the world short course championships on Sunday when he won the 100m indvidual medley in 51.21sec.
Lochte had already taken victory in the 200m freestyle, 4x100m freestyle relay, 4x200m freestyle relay and 200m individual medley.
Australia’s Kenneth To was second with George Bowell III of the United States taking third place.
Just minutes before the final, Lochte had won silver in the 200m backstroke.
