At least five die in Baghdad restaurant boat sinking

A restaurant boat at the Lebanese club in central Baghdad sank on Thursday night with 80 people on board, leaving at least five people dead, interior ministry and medical officials said.

“A boat belonging to the Lebanese club in the Karrada district sank tonight while there were 80 people on board,” the interior ministry official said.

At least five people died, they said.
