London equities rebounded slightly in opening deals on Monday, following heavy losses before the weekend with the FTSE 100 index adding 0.33 percent to 6,270.17 points.
Elsewhere, Frankfurt’s DAX 30 rose 0.13 percent to 7,669.04 points and in Paris the CAC 40 gained 0.40 percent to 3,677.22 points.
European markets had slumped on Friday after data showed that US job growth was much weaker than expected in March, signalling a slowdown in the world’s biggest economy.
