Police were Thursday questioning a 15-year-old boy over the murder of a teenager who was trying to retrieve a mobile phone belonging to his younger brother.
Officers had been hunting for the suspect since Dogan Ismail, 17, was killed in Walworth, south east London, on December 30. They arrested him on Wednesday.
Ismail and 15-year-old brother Orhan were on the Aylesbury Estate trying to recover the Blackberry handset, stolen two days earlier, when they became embroiled in an altercation with four men.
Agency worker Anthony Munroe, 18, has already been charged with Ismail’s murder along with one count of theft.
