A man was killed Monday by a New York City subway train after he was pushed from the platform by another man during an altercation, police said.
The incident took place in midtown Manhattan, on an R line platform at a station on Seventh Avenue and 49th Street, a New York Police Department (NYPD) spokesman said.
Police were still searching for the man believed to have pushed the victim onto the tracks, the spokesman added.
