American film-maker David Gordon Green won the Silver Bear best director prize for his buddy picture “Prince Avalanche” Saturday at the 63rd Berlinale.
The movie, the only comedy among the 19 contenders at the festival, stars Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch as roadway workers in Texas at crossroads in their lives.
