Japan’s Daiya Seto claimed gold in the men’s 400m individual medley at the swimming world championships on Sunday with American Chase Kalisz in second and Brazil’s Thiago Pereira in third.
The 19-year-old powered home in the last 50 metres to clock at time of 4min 08.69 secs with Kalisz at 0.53 and Pereira at 0.79.
