Hungarian peacekeeper kidnapped in Egypt's Sinai: police

Armed Bedouin tribesmen in Egypt’s Sinai kidnapped on Thursday a Hungarian soldier with an international peacekeeping mission, police said.

The Bedouin abducted the soldier with the Multinational Force and Observers in the restive north of the peninsula, a police official said, adding the kidnappers demanded the release of a jailed relative in Egypt.
