US shooting church evacuated due to threat

Police evacuated mourners of the US school shooting from a church in Newtown on Sunday due to an undisclosed threat.

An AFP journalist on the scene witnessed armed SWAT teams searching the Saint Rose of Lima church and an adjacent building as the church bells rang repetitively.
