LONDON, Dec. 1 (UPI) — Eva Longoria gave fans a glimpse into her friendship with Victoria Beckham on Monday.
The 40-year-old American actress dished about her relationship with the 41-year-old English designer in an interview with ITV talk show Loose Women. Longoria and Beckham met nine years ago in Los Angeles through Tony Parker and David Beckham.
“She’s an amazing woman, an amazing mum, an amazing businesswoman and an amazing wife, and she’s really funny,” the star said of the former Spice Girl. “She smiles and laughs a lot… and she makes me laugh, more importantly.”
Longoria has since split from Parker, but remained “very close friends” with Beckham. The pair attended the annual Global Gift Gala fundraiser later in the evening, and shared photos prior to the event on Instagram.
“Getting ready for the @GlobalGiftFoundation with the beautiful @victoriabeckham and @kenpaves #GGFLDN15,” the actress wrote. The designer added, “I love u kids!! x so much fun with @evalongoria @kenpaves at #GGFLDN15.”
Longoria is best known for playing Gabrielle Solis on ABC drama Desperate Housewives, and has since guest starred on Fox comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Beckham came to fame with the girl group Spice Girls, and continues to oversee her various fashion lines.
