LOS ANGELES, May 11 (UPI) — Heather Locklear celebrated her would-be 30th wedding anniversary with ex-husband Tommy Lee on Tuesday.
The 54-year-old actress marked the occasion by dedicating throwback photos to the 53-year-old musician on Instagram, writing, “Happy 30 years baby.”
One picture features Locklear sitting on Lee’s lap as they share a kiss with tongue, while the other includes the pair on their wedding day with Lee’s groomsmen and Motley Crue bandmates, Vince Neil and Nikki Sixx.
Locklear and Lee married on May 10, 1986, and divorced in 1993. The actress later wed Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, while Lee married actress Pamela Lee. Both marriages have since ended, although Locklear and Sambora remain friendly.
“We’re better friends now than ever,” Sambora, who shares 18-year-old daughter Ava with Locklear, told People in 2014. “If you don’t get along you are messing the kid up. That’s what happens … Communication has got to come first.”
Locklear is known for playing Amanda Woodward on Melrose Place and Caitlyn Moore on Spin City, and last portrayed Rachel King on Franklin & Bash. Lee and Motley Crue performed their final show on New Year’s Eve in 2015.
