NORCROSS, Ga., Jan. 26 (UPI) — Restaurant chain Waffle House announced it will shed its fast-casual style for a single night to offer candlelit romantic dinners for Valentine’s Day.
The Georgia-based chain said lovers with an appetite for romance are being encouraged to make Valentine’s Day reservations at dozens of the eatery’s locations to save on the high cost of a formal dinner at a fancy restaurant.
The chain said the “It’s a Waffle House Love Story” promotion marks the ninth year of the chain offering customers a Valentine’s Day experience.
The promotion puts Waffle House in good company — burger chain White Castle is offering similar Valentine’s reservations for slider-craving romance-makers.
